About Mangrove Redevelopment
Established in 2000, Mangrove Redevelopment is recognized as a leader in the renaissance of St. Louis Forest Park Southeast neighborhood.
Our signature building, now known as The Mangrove (located at Manchester Ave. and Tower Grove) is at the "heart of the Grove" district. It served the neighborhood as a department store for fifty years until 1970. After being shuttered and in a state of decline for three decades, Mangrove Redevelopment purchased the building in 2000 and began an historic restoration that has since earned multiple awards and accolades.
The restoration is credited for having set new and higher standards for rehabbing along Manchester Avenue that has helped to attract new investment on the street and to the area. The Mangrove Building has since re-emerged as a neighborhood anchor. |
